This practice is the only orthodontic provider in town. The office is very visible and is located adjacent to local schools, making it poised to be built into the area’s premier practice. It has been in the same location for 20 years and has been operated as a satellite. The office utilizes New Horizons software.
Pre-COVID the office was open 4 days a week. Since reopening post-COVID, it has been operating at 3 days each week, with the doctor scheduled out more than 2 months in advance. There are currently 186 patients in treatment, and 48 new patient exams have been completed through June of this year. There were 53 new starts in 2018 on 97 exams, 49 starts in 2019 on 100 exams and 25 starts in 2020 on 60 exams.
Collections for the last three years have averaged $255,172, with an average adjusted net income of $107,574. Extrapolating for the COVID closure in 2020, collections were $248,931, with net income of $106,851. Considering the excellent location, no local competition and the history of no external marketing, the practice is perfect for its new owner to aggressively grow it as either a primary or satellite office.
 

About the Facility:

There are 4 partitioned treatment spaces in the 2,000 square foot structure, with room for a potential remodel or expansion if desired. There is an extra chair available if expansion is desired. The equipment list includes a Pan-Ceph/PA and all is in excellent working condition, with an average age of approximately 15-20 years. There are 12 off street parking spaces, a large private office, a spacious reception area with fireplace, television and play area, a dark room with space to remodel, sterilization and small staff lounge.
