Southeastern New York [ NYDAC ]

Located in the lower Hudson valley in southeastern NY the practice is in a good school district and near great recreation. The Metro north rail system and Amtrak both serve this area. The Hudson River is about eleven miles away. It is about eighty miles from NYC, 118 mi to Albany, and 118mi to Saratoga Springs. Both the Roosevelt and Vanderbilt estates and museums are within this county. This area is wooded and boasts hiking trails (Appalachian trail and others) a long rail trail, easy access to the Catskills fishing and camping or similar as you go towards the Adirondacks in the north. This practice opened in June 2001. It has two exam rooms, both with lift tables and one is a gurney. It has the Idexx suite of in-house laboratory equipment. There is a treatment area with tub table and a surgery suite and an x-ray room There are two isoflurane anesthesia machines, a Cardell surgery monitor, Midmark high speed dental deck and the summit x-ray machine has been upgraded to Heska Cuattro digital. Three computers currently have Avimark software. The practice is AAHA accredited. Two licensed technicians and one front desk and assistant and a second front desk person man the practice. Currently one veterinarian operates this practice but two people and extended hours would produce substantial growth.
